OPBF Announces Launch of Giving It Back Campaign

An OPBF Initiative to Support the Members of Omega Phi Beta Sorority, Inc,

New York, New York – Jan 1, 2024… OPBF is excited to announce the launch of its GIVING IT BACK CAMPAIGN (GIBC), to help assist the members of Omega Phi Beta Sorority, Inc, in their effort to continue to Serve & Educate Through Their Diversity around the world.

In Fall of 2023, a pilot program was launched in collaboration with the National Step/Stroll Team of Omega Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. to create a mentorship program, connecting alumni and current NST members. OPBF Chair, Jessica Saul, founder of OPBSI NST, trained NST members in the art form of step and choreography. “Working with Jessica these last few months has been very inspiring. Not only did Jessica teach the team on her trademark style of Step, but she also mentored us and provided invaluable resources to help expand our mission. We are thrilled to continue our mentorship and excited for what 2024 will bring,” says the Executive Board of The National Step and Stroll Team, collectively.

After several trainings and communication, OPBF decided to expand the pilot program and establish an in-depth campaign to include:

  • Local/National Mentorship & Leadership Programs
  • Financial Assistance
  • Internship Opportunities and more!

GIBC is collecting funds all year round, 100% tax-deductible, which will support these efforts. “We believe supporting leaders in our communities at the start of their endeavors, will make a huge impact in their missions,” said Jessica Saul, Executive Director/Chair of OPB Foundation. “As a sister of Omega Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. I am extremely proud of this campaign which will continue to support our efforts in impacting young leaders around the world.”

This new campaign will join the current OPBF philanthropic portfolio consisting of STEM/STEAM Scholarships, international campaign: The Planting Seeds Project, community-based campaign: Power of Community and other local community initiatives.
